The Dancing Fairy

I'm called the dancing fairy,

all dressed in chiffon blue,

I've come to share your day,

and spend the night with you.

I hover from lily pad to lily pad,

my wings dancing in the light;

I'm here to make your wish come true,

on this very special night.

A wish is so very special,

Oh, this I know for sure,

So be careful what you wish for,

maybe it's love that makes you stir?

Perhaps a warm hand, a warm heart,

or love that will always last;

But remember what you've wished for,

at other times in your past!

Come dance with me and be happy,

this is not a time to feel blue;

And remember that a fairy's wish,

will surely, always, come true!

I'm only here for a little while,

it's a shame that I can't stay.

So have fun with the wish I gave you,

and have a wonderful and glorious day!
