Mystery Mermaiden

Looking upon the winters Shore

The foam becomes as clouds & begins to roar

All around a white blanket is forming

as the sky lights up with the impending storm

No beginning, no end is in site

Just the motion of glistening lights

Only the mermaid knows the sea’s delight

As she Dances to the rhythm of the night

Dancing merrily in the splashing waves

But Keeping hidden in the light of day

So not to be noticed as she plays

Carefully to vanish once again to Her secret place.

From the moment I saw Disney's Little Mermaid I fell in Love with her, I have a collection of over 18 different dolls, all collectible figurines, some from Germany. I have 3 different Erik dolls, Two of her sisters from under the sea...and her little undersea world. Yes I guess I'm a bit of a kid at heart where she is concerned. I don't know if you were aware thou...if you look closely these Disney Dolls have unique features. They actually are not the same mold on all of them. I also have the very first Ariel where they decided to recall them because her hair wasn't RED enough.

I acquired a waterglobe available at the Disney Store, that actually is 1 large, 3 small globes in one. It plays "Under the Sea" music, and is from the scene where Ariel is sitting as Sebatian explains to her that the Sea is where she should be.

My latest waterglobe I bought from Walgreens. It is of the 4 princess's dancing in ball gowns.

My first online handle was "Ariel" and at the time it fit perfectly for several reasons. A girlfriend introduced me to a BBS & because I was so shy I would only whisper to her or some I knew. I wasn't comfortable around crowds. But when I met some online friends for the first time at a pizza parlor I was shaking from being so nervous. We'll they didn't have a hard time figuring out who I was ... another feature I have in relation to Ariel is my long hair that is now past my waist.

Fortunatly with technology I've become a little less shy. And i've made some awsome new friends along the way. I've recently became part of The Official Ariel Fanlisting

Nah they say your as old as you feel...some days i feel young, others --well it's caught up to me. lol
