Where we left off: As he looked at her closer he suddenly realized he was looking at one of the two people ever to be born into immortality. His daughter.
He slowed his breathing down and tried to act as if nothing happened. I have to call Connor. Tell him about her he would no what to do.
"Mac?" Richie voice seemed irritated at being ignored.
" Hmm?" Macleod answered with as much attention as he could spare.
" What's the matter? I've only been calling your name for the past three times."
"Sorry Rich, you were saying?"
" I asked if Malmuirie could start coming tomorrow."
"That would be good, what ever you think is right, I have to go make a few phone calls. I'll see you latter."
He slowly turned to look at Malmuirie . "It was nice to meet you." Than he walked over to the elevator and started to head upstairs.
Richie had to think of a good reason for Macleod's actions. "He sees things that remind him of stuff from when he was younger." Boy that was an understatement.
Duncan hung the phone up and walked slowly over to the chess bored. A game of minds. Maybe that's what this was, someone playing a mind game with him before a challenge. No that could not be it, no one knew about her besides Connor and himself. He moved a piece on the bored. "Checkmate".
