Setup & Preparation

Read the procedure. That's about it. You might wanna download the Quicktime video. I think it lasts just a few seconds because it's just setup.
You can practice pinning by clicking on "Let's Practice". Locate where to put the pins. If you don't wanna do that, click on "Skin Incisions".

Skin Incisions

Read the procedure. It basically describes how deep you should cut, where to cut, and how far you should cut. Scroll down and download the Quicktime file. If you don't want to, click on Muscle Incision. Make sure you know the locations of the 1st and 2nd incisions. You also might want to practice where to pin.
1.Should the incisions be made along the midline of the frog's body, or horizontally?
2. What tool do you need to cut?

Muscle Incision

Read the procedure very carefully. If you don't, you might want to get a new frog. It's very short, so just read the procedure.
1.Where do you make the first incision?
2.What point indicates that you have cut far enough?

Organ Systems

Start with layer 1 (the liver and the heart). Make sure you know the location of the heart and liver. Then go to layer 2. Make sure you know the location of these organ systems and what they look like. It is pretty confusing inside the frog. Check out layer 3. Then identify whether a frog is male or female in layer 4.
1. What is the color of the heart?
2. What organs do male and female frogs share, besides the reproductive organs(located in layer 4).
The rest of the lab is exploration. Was it fun, or was it F material? I hope it was good, cause Jencil and I poured our hearts into this(sorta). Well, it's been fun. Until I am either paid for making webpages or I'm just obligated to, you won't ever see my web work again. Bye.
