Psychology

This page is about various parts of psychology.

In my school newspaper, there was an article about interpreting your dreams. It talked about how Sigmund Freud (also known as The Big Pervert) found out about how to interpret certain dreams.
(ie: In your dream, if you are drowning, too many emotions are controlling you, if you fight monsters, its like fighting your fears.)
Well, in a book that I bought, called Freud and Psychoanalysis , Sigmund Freud talks about how he thinks thumb sucking is linked to oral sex.

Somewhere in the book, Freud's patient is a child of about 9, who is having some problems (I forget). It goes on to the child talking about his dream, which Freud considers the child to be a homosexual. (Well, it was pretty obvious, since the child had such an attachment to his mother.) I will talk more about Freud later.

Color Psychology

Everyone should know by now that the right side of the brain deals with colors and emotion. Color psychology deals with emotions. Here is a brief look at what colors trigger certain effects/emotions:
Red: Passion, excitement, to stop.
Orange: Humor
Yellow: Creativity, spunk, to slow down.
Apple green: Innovation
Green: Envious, security, to go.
Blue: Sadness
Purple: Majestic.

What are my favorite colors? My favorite colors are red and yellow.

Neuropsychology also deals with psychology. Graphology is part of neuropsychology since the brain is sending messages to where the pen/pencil is being held. You can tell a lot about the person by his/her writing. I will tell more later.

Music helps the mind grow, especially classical music. It is best to listen to music while you are doing something else, as it helps you learn more and memorize more.
More to come soon.
