Magik Moment is our first experience with a foal. Fantasy's (his mother) water broke at 7:00 a.m. on June 8, 1998 and Magik was born at 7:15 a.m. We were up all night waiting for the blessed event that took only 15 minutes. But, it paid off because we were there during his birth and able to imprint him before he took his first steps. His birth went so well it was as if he and his mother had read all the manuals and watched the videos. It truly was a magic moment, thus his name.

Magik is now eight months old and 14 hands. He's learning the life of a horse. He's had his feet trimmed and he knows how to walk (strut in his case) on a lead line. He loves to be ponied on the trail. This should aid in training him under saddle because he shouldn't be as spooky as a horse who has never been in the real world. We love working with him and he loves all the attention he can get.

At 10 months we sold Magik to a wonderful family in Acton. We hated to see him go, but we know he got an excellent home.
