target="_new">http://www.cyberrebate.com that offers different gift items (look for the '100%' tab on the main page) for FREE and they offer free shipping at times. This also will require you to do some "work" to request your rebate. But both places offer a way to help that you can charge to a credit card and get a full rebate shortly thereafter.
Gift Card Ideas Here are grocery stores that have Gift Cards that you can buy either online or over the phone; Meijer: 1-800-487-9460 ( http://www.meijer.com );
Kroger: 1-800-576-4377 ( http://www.krogercolumbus.com );
Sam's Club/Walmart: 1-800-925-6278
( http://www.walmart.com ). The gift cards from Walmart can also be used at Sam's Club. The gift cards from Kroger and Meijer CAN NOT be used at their gas stations. If you want to help with gasoline purchases here is a link to a Gift Card that can help: BP Oil ( http://www.bpprepay.com ).

URGENT HELP NEEDED:
February is the most expensive month for the Cheuka/Tatum household since that is the month that their natural gas bill is usually the higest and the first half of their property taxes are due. The other half are due 6 months later, in May. So they are in urgent need and are seriously hurting financially right now. I believe their natural gas bill is about $200 in February and their property tax bill is about $700. Time is of the essance since the tax bill arrives toward the end of February and the taxes are due on the first week of March. So if you can help, please send what you can to them directly. Again, as usual, please do not let them know that I am the source of information for their needs.
Last year they took a "cash advance" against a credit card toward the beginning of the month, and that severely affected their financial situation throughout 2002.
As I update this it is now December 2003, and the other half of their property taxes are due the first week of April.
God bless,
Eric, DJ, Daniel, Matthew, Johnathan, Michael, David, Patrick, and Peter

FYI-FAQ (Answers to frequently asked questions):
- Why are you doing this? Back when I was in early medical school, John was my boss. He also was a friend to me as he was with everyone he worked with. He would give all he had to a person in need, and now he is the one who is in need. I owe him my 'Spiritual Life' (otherwise I would have quit the Catholic Church), 'Professional Life' (otherwise I would have been in 'research' instead of 'patient care'), and my 'Married Life' (I had many problems, and he helped me resolve them long before I met and fell in love with DJ).
- What are the birthdays of Daniel, John, and Anne? Daniel's DOB is 12-February-1957, John's DOB is 22-July-1968, and Anne's DOB is 28-December-1920
- What are the disabilities that they have? I would suggest visiting their web page at the link below for those sort of details. They outline it better than I do. But basically Daniel has Cerebral Palsy that affects all four limbs but he can walk. John is an Incomplete Paraplegic and requires crutches and leg braces or a wheelchair to get around. Anne has Alzheimer's Disease. This is all an 'oversimplification', but it gets the basic point across. Again, please visit their own web site for more detailed information.
- What is their source of income? Daniel gets a small amount of Social Security Disability as well as his 12 hours worth of pay a week at Meijer and John gets Social Security Disability and SSI. Anne gets Social Security Retirement and a very small pension, which now goes to the nursing home she has lived in since August of 2001.
- Can anyone in the Mansfield area help? I personally have contacted their parish, and other local agencies and have run into 'brick walls' all over the place. If you have better luck, feel free to try.
