For any Sublime fans out there who do not know who the LBDA
are, then you are NOT a true Sublime fan!!
After Bradley's untimely death, the remaining members of his
band, Bud and Eric, and some other friends of the band got
together to do benefit concerts for Bradley's son, and in memory
of Bradley himself, they called themselves: the Long Beach
Dub All Stars. They have come a long way form doing benefit
concerts, this year they have been hard at work in making an
album of their own, they have gone on tour. I was privileged
enough to see them twice: first at the House of Blues in Hollywood,
CA on December 15, 1998 (where I was lucky enough to have met them
and Lou Dog), and at the Glass House in Pomona, CA
on March 2, 1999, both shows kicked fucking ass!! They
have been voted BAM Magazines's top California "World Beat" 97',
and they have been invited to play at festivals world wide.
They have come to establish themselves as individuals in the
in the music community, and it is about god damn time!!

Field Marshall: Turntables, Percussion, Beats.
Miguel: Guitar, Backing Vocals, Boards.
Opie: Throat / Vocals / Dance Moves
Bud: Drums, Percussion, Bud.
RAS1: Guitar, Vocals
Jack: Organ, Vocals
Tim: Sax
The Band is often joined on-stage by one or many special guests
for spontaneous freestyle jams.
