    PRESENTATION OF SCHOLARLY ACTIVITY:
    RESEARCH, PROJECTS, AND CREATIVE EXPRESSION
    CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
     
      For Presentation at Fall Conferences
      DEADLINE: September 30th of each year



      The Research Committee would like to encourage members to submit abstracts for research or descriptions of projects or works of creative expression. All submissions will be blind reviewed by the Research Committee members. Please specify which category you are submitting for and whether you wish to present orally or in a display format. The following guidelines for submission should be used: Research: All forms of research are welcome and encouraged. Abstracts will be blind reviewed by the Research Committee. Please include enough information on purpose, methodology, analytical techniques, results, and conclusions to enable the reviewers to make informed decisions regarding acceptability (approximately two pages). Authors of abstracts selected for presentation may submit their abstract or full papers for consideration for publication in PERSPECTIVES. Projects and Works of Creative Expression: Descriptions of Projects and Works of Creative Expression will also be blind reviewed for oral presentation or as a display or demonstration. Descriptions should include information appropriate for adequate review; for example, photos of artwork, video or audio tapes, or text for prose or poetry.

    Other guidelines include the following:
    • Papers must be unpublished.
    • Papers may or may not be related to the Conference theme.
    • Oral presentation should be 12 minutes in length. Poster presentations should be made "bulletin board" style. A brief summary of purpose, methods, results, and conclusions is displayed on poster board. Displays will use "poster-like" format with easels and poster board or tables or both.
    • Send 7 copies of your titled abstract (no author or school name on these) with a cover letter indicating title of study, author name and institution, WSPECW and/or NAPEHE membership address and phone number, and oral or poster preference to:
