You Might Be Addicted to ANIME if....
*you dream in Japanese and still don't know what it means (or if your dreams have subtitles!)
*you often see your thoughts as Super-Deformed
*you know what "Super Deformed" and "Chibi" mean.
*you have "Anipike.com" set as your automatic homepage on your web browser
*when "The Slayers" makes fun of another anime you get it right away.
*you give the word "otaku" a new meaning (and you know what it means).
*you try to get all your friends to dress up as any given group of anime characters (Sailor Senshi, the Slayers, the Goddesses, Tenchi & the girls, The DBZ cast, etc.) on Halloween.
*you try to get all your friends to dress like that every day.
*when your history teacher asked you to write a paper on the history of the mythology of evil, you wrote about Shabranigido (from The Slayers).
*your philosphy paper revolved around a "Heaven hotline" (or "Goddess Helpline") and "bugs in the system," and explained the "ultimate force".
*you use Japanese words in regular conversation (ie, "That's so KAWAII!")
*you took a few Japanese classes just so you wouldn't have to read so many subtitles.
*you know all the lyrics to at least 10 Japanese songs and you sing them at random intervals.
*no one will ride in your car anymore because all you play is anime music.
*your wall is plastered with anime posters and pictures.
*you own more video tapes or DVDs in Japanese than you do in English.
*when you go over to your friend's houses they play the song "I think I'm Turning Japanese" and hope you get the hint.
*you know more Christmas songs in Japanese than you do in English
*American cartoons just don't look right....
*If anyone calls anime a "cartoon" you quickly scream corrections at them.
*Your biggest delemia each day is which anime tee shirt to wear, since you love them all (and have about a hundred of them).
*the money you've spent on anime could probably put you through college.
*you post at over 5 anime newsgroups or message boards regularly.
*when asked to indentify your favorite show, most people have never heard of it and you have to explain that it's only aired in Japan.
*when your friends play cards, you whip out your deck with anime pictures all over it.
*you actually think Chibi-Usa is adorable.
*whenever you watch a dubbed anime, you can tell when the character isn't saying what he or she orginally said.
*you've started addressing your female friends with the suffix "chan" and people you respect with the suffix "san". (ie Laurie-chan or Vic-san).
*when someone annoys you, you try to use an attack (a spell or special move) to destroy them. And you still don't understand why it doesn't work.
*you're still trying to find an animal that looks enough like Mokona or Pikachu to adopt and name accordingly.
*you have little dolls/action figures of your favorite anime characters and you play them with in class or at work.
*you've gotten in the horrid "who is better in anime?" argument (ie. "No way, Lina-san could kick Gohan anytime" or "Skuld could easily beat Sailor Moon in a fight.")
*You know what CLAMP is.
*for you, the happiest moment of staying with family in San Francisco was finding out that they got the Asian Channels (anime, J-Pop videos, and more!)
*you consider "DiC" a bad word.
*you cried when you learned Disney had the dubbing rights to Princess Mononoke.
*you know the names all the people who play the voices (seiyuu) for several animes and look for other J-Pop work that they've done.
*you've considered moving to Japan just so you could have easier access to anime and the merchandise that accompanies it.
*you plan to or have named a child after an anime character (Lina Inverse, Usagi, Tenchi, Belldandy, Mamoru, etc.)
*you bought a unviversal Play Station just so you could play more of the anime games!
*you keep buying pets (like cats or dogs) and hope that they talk and tell you that you're really a superhero of some sort.
*you sat down and decided what anime you would like to live in and who, of everyone you know, should be who.
