Would the Real Vandals Please Step Up

The Vandals are (in no particular order):

Joe Escalante

Joe has been with the Vandals since their creation and is the only original band member still with the group. He used to play the drums but now plays bass and does some vocals (including a hilarious 'Here I am Lord' on the Christmas album). He is also a lawyer outside of the Vandals and represents other bands including the likes of Swingin Utters. Apparently he was also in a movie called Suburbia (the old one not the new one {thanx to Jordan Hill for that info})

Warren Fitzgerald

Mr. Fitzgerald gets around quite a bit on the album credits doing lots of stuff. Along with just playing Guitar and doing lead vocals (I have a Date)and backup vocals, he also produced and engineered some albums for the Vandals. I even spotted his name on the Assorted Jelly Beans album, 'Assorted Jelly Beans'. He is also quite wild when he does a song at concerts. He doesn't seem like the do-it-all type when he's in motion but I guess appearances can be decieving.

Dave Quackenbush

David is the main singer of the band playing guitar on 'I have a Date'. He is quite the singer of the group. He does own his own beer company and for that I think he is X-tremely kewl. (How about a free sample Dave???) "Dave Quackenbush was also the lead singer of a band called the Falling idols back in the 80's. That band was made up of a bunch of guys that went on to form other cool bands: Dave (The Vandals), Randy (Pennywise) and some other guy (One Hit Wonder). Falling Idols were cool, they inspired pretty much all the bands on the Skunk label, especially Sublime who do a cover of the Falling Idols song on Robbin the Hood. If you want to hear what Dave sounded like in Falling Idols, two of their songs are on the Skunk Summer 98 sampler." (Info once again courtesy of Jordan Hill)

Josh Freese

A truly talented drummer, one of the best I have ever heard. The Vandals say they spotted him drumming at Disneyland and hooked up with him that way, they also say that he is the only Vandal with any real talent. He has been around the block too, he has played with Devo, the Replacements and Infectious Grooves. He sat in for Chad Sexton of 311 when he broke his arm while on the warped tour two years back. His most recent stuff has been drumming on the newest Guns and Roses album and he also drummed for Perry Farrel on the Chef Aid Southpark album. "My drum teacher told me that Josh Freese and Brooks Wackerman (he played on Live Fast Diarrea and the Christmas Album and maybe one other) along with Brooks' older brother (i forget his name) are big Zappa fans and Brooks' older brother as well as Brooks himself have played on Frank Zappa albums and all three have played on Dweezel and Ahmed Zappa albums."
