1. How did TBT start?
a) Take match A, strike, and light fuse B...no wait; that's TNT.
b) With a one and a two, and a one two three four...
c) TBT opened in November 1996 because we needed a workshop space to showcase the musicals we are writing. When a show is ready, we take it to a bigger venue, like the National Ballet School's Betty Oliphant Theatre.

2. Is P.M. Productions a professional or amateur theatre company?
a) We're professional amateurs.
b) We consider some of our competition to be amateur professionals.
c) Actually, at this point in time we're somewhere in between the two extremes. We combine aspects of both perspectives by working with aspiring young actors from local Toronto schools as well as working actors who have performed in venues such as Carnegie Hall, Maple Leaf Gardens and on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

3. Are there soundtracks available for your shows?
a) Of course. Mostly instrumental versions currently.
b) Not all of them, but for a modest fee we'll come to your home and sing for you.
c) Not all of them yet, but we are in the process of recording them. We currently have limited CD releases of Job and the Snake, Aesop, Come Away, and of Epimenides. If you're interested, please contact us at (416) 410-JILL or via email.

4. How many shows does TBT put on a year?
a) 1,111,000 in the binary counting system. (1,111,001 in leap years)
b) As many as there are highway exits between Toronto and Kingston.
c) Currently we produce one musical for a run anywhere between two weeks six weeks, with opening to hold the show over.

5. How do I find your theatre?
a) Highly entertaining.
b) From Heathrow, take a left at Greenland.
c) We are located at 619 Sherbourne St. in Toronto, Ontario, just south of Sherbourne subway station.

6. Do you have matinee performances?
a) Yes, they start at 8:00 in the evening.
b) No, it's too early for us to get up.
c) Not regularly. Our performances generally run Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 8:00 p.m. However, we are starting to book school groups for special matinee performances to see our newest musical Aesop during the school year.

7. How big is the theatre?
a) The Leafs are negotiating with us.
b) You can swing a cat around by the tail and not hit any walls.
c) The intimate theatre space holds about 100 people.

8. Who writes the music?
a) Do you remember Menudo?
b) I can't remember their names, but they're not that bad.
c) All music for P.M. shows is written and performed by Cube City.

9. Do you perform original musicals only?
a) Yes, this ensures that people with short attention spans stay awake.
b) We're looking into plays.
c) The music by Cube City is all original material, performed either with a full live band or with pre-recorded tracks. Currently, all shows have some musical content.

10. Is there parking?
a) Yes. And we don't charge you $75 for it.
b) For vehicles only.
c) We have a small free lot accessible from an alley off of Bloor St. between the Allianz building and the firestation. Parking is on a first come, first served basis. There's also street parking in the area. Subway access is just next door.

11. Are your shows appropriate for children?
a) Yes, but don't bring any pets.
b) Darth Vader and his Dark Side might get offended.
c) We have received positive feedback from a wide range of people, from primary school age to very hip senior citizens. We hope to have downloadable soundbytes on this website soon to give you a sample of our shows.

12. How long are your productions?
a) About 35 pages.
b) Quite long when actors forget lines, but don't worry, for your convenience our concessions stand makes snacks and drinks readily available.
c) Our productions run an average of two hours. Shows generally have a fifteen minute intermission.

13. How can I audition for your shows?
a) Send gifts.
b) With a tune and a spoon and a little bitty cipher.
c) Check out our casting call and/or our youth casting call. Arrange a spot during our next audition day by phoning or emailing us.

14. How do I find out about future productions?
a) Maybe the Psychic Network can help.
b) How about staring at our website.
