STAY CONNECTED! WiFi is great, but it still ties you to a hot spot. For truly mobile computing consider installing an EVDO card onto your laptop to get high-speed wireless access using Sprint or Verizon state of the art cell networks that costs $60 per month or more. (May no longer be in business.)
Get YOUR DOCUMENTS! To access your files from a remote computer, try GoToMyPC from $15 per month that lets you tap into your windows desktop from any computer with a broadband connection. Another option is Avvenu.com who’s basic service is free and offers a streamlined interface ideal for PDAs. Consult your IT dept to ensure that these services will work with your office’s network.
