Not much biting on gulp - maybe minnows?

Well, been out ice fishing a few times and tried berkely gulp in orange minnow style. Had some wax grabs too, supposed to real smelly in the cold.

Jigged 'em and tried some just sitting there on bottom, but nothing. Been 3 times now and still nada.

Next it's gonna be minnows, we'll see how that goes!

Ice fishing has started here now that it's cold

Gonna be a long wait for some nice spring action on the trout lakes in Calabogie.

The ice huts are out on the local rivers here, the Ottawa down at Lefaivre and L'Orignal.

The South Nation is even starting to freeze over on the sections that rarely see ice.

Will probably get out for 1 ice fishing day but I
find I dont like the cold much anymore.

Should go somewhere warm year round so I can fish
without freezing me butt off!

Hopefully when i do out on the ice I have better luck than usual, as most times I get skunked when I go ice fishing.

and the opposite when i fish in summer, i get plenty of bites.

still unemployed, but my website business is working out good. can't wait for the water to get hard so we can get out and do some ice fishing for walleye and sauger, on the ottawa river or south nation. merry christmas to all!
