The manga is the original
story, created and drawn by Takeuchi Naoko-sensei, and has a
rather noticeable discrepancy with the anime. These stories are known
for their intensity: there are much romances, merciless slaughters and even
slight adult content. In addition, the manga are not divided into seasons
like the anime; each "section" is connected to another in some way. The manga
consists of 18 volumes in total, with an addition of several artbooks which
feature each section as I have divided below. The sections are made according
to the seasons of the anime for easier navigation.
