Ya Don't Need to Shout!
Topic: In the Laundy Room
Watkins Pre-wash is fantastic for pre-treating laundry stains and a whole lot more. Removes grass, ground in dirt, food, coffee, tea, and juice stains from your clothes. All those wonderful stains your whole family runs into in every day.

It also works fantastic for cleaning stained tea and coffee pots, cups, thermoses and dishes.

Take care,
Melody

It's Always a Busy Time of The Year.
Topic: Musings around my table.
Sit down for a minute and enjoy a cup of coffee with me.

It always seems to be a busy time of the year, doesn't it?

I love spring, things start growing, the robins arrive, the sun shines and we don't need our winter coats. But there is yard work, tree pruning, spring cleaning, softball practice... things will be slower in the summer.

I love long lazy summer days but then there is summer work... things will slow down in the fall!

Ahhh, fall with colorful leaves, crisp air, better get ready for winter, and the holidays... things will slow down in the winter.

Winter... oh, well things will slow down in the spring!

It never seems to slow down, an endless merry-go-round. So take a minute sit down and enjoy life.

Go Ahead - Put Your Fine China in the Dishwasher!
Topic: In the Kitchen
A customer tells me she uses her fine china on a regular basis and washes it in her automatic dishwasher. The important thing she said is to use a dishwasher detergent that does NOT contain bleach. That's why she always uses Watkins Organic Automatic Dishwasher detergent as it contains no bleach. Just be careful to load your dishes so they don't bang against each other and chip.

I was so excited! I never use my good china because I don't have time to carefully hand wash it. We'll be eating in style now that I've learned this tip.

Enjoy life to it's fullest,
Melody

A Resolution You can Stick to!
Topic: Musings around my table.
If you're like most people, you've already broken your New Year's Resolution, so don't give up?just make a new one, but this time, make sure it's something you can stick with. Instead of making one big promise that you can't keep, make small changes that you can live with and that require an action to be taken. Eat a piece of fruit every day. Walk the dog every other day. Put $50 in savings every week. Visit a loved one, or someone who needs love, every month.

Small changes or actions every day or every week can make a BIG difference in a year. That $50 you put into savings every week will grow to $2,600 by the end of the year, not counting interest. Eat a piece of fruit everyday?instead of a donut?and you could lose 30 pounds in a year! Walk the dog and you can lose even more weight, more quickly.

Instead of vowing to lose 30 pounds, commit to that piece of fruit everyday?it's a resolution you can stick with, and will help to peel off the pounds. If you need a little support, Watkins TheraTrim Duo, taken daily, can help to control your appetite and boost your metabolism to help you stick with your plan all year long.

Mix 1 tablespoon of Watkins Cool Curry snack and dip mix with 1/2 cup regular or low fat mayonnaise, add to chopped chicken or shrimp for a cool sandwich filling.

1-2 teaspoons of Watkins Garlic and Dill snack and dip mix, added to 1 can drained salmon, mash with enough regular or low fat mayonnaise to moisten for a dill-ightful sandwich.

Mix Watkins Tomato and Horseradish snack and dip mix with 1/2 cup regular or low fat mayonnaise for a spread with sliced roast beef.

Or try some of these other flavors:
Bacon and Cheddar. Bacon and Horseradish, Blazin' Cajun, Crab, Cucumber Dill, Garden Vegetable, Pepper Ranch, Salsa and Sour Cream, Tomato and Bacon, the possibilities are endless.

Pasta on hold.
Topic: In the Kitchen
To keep cooked pasta warm for an hour or so without over cooking it, place in a colander set above a pot of simmering water. Cover until needed.

Sliding... glass doors.
Topic: Around the house.
Does your sliding glass door stick when you open it? Rub the tracks with some Watkins Furniture Polish, then slide the door back and forth along the track. The polish will lubricate the track making it slide easily.

Quick and easy - sparkling tub, tile and shower.
Topic: Cleaning House.
Spray your shower stall or tub area with Watkins Tub and Tile cleaner, give the bathroom sink a spray too. Leave it sit for a few minutes while you get undressed to have a shower. Give everything a quick wipe with a damp cloth then shower as usual. While you are getting clean you'll be rinsing off the tub and tile cleaner.

Once a week should keep your tub, tile and/or shower stall sparkling clean. Removes mineral deposits and soap scum.
