Foxx Elected Chair of SDCRP

In what could have
been
the definition of "A meeting that lasted too long."
The elected members of the San Diego County Republican
Party selected their presiding officers Monday night.
Topping the ticket and securing the position of Chair is
Roxana Foxx who comes to the SDCRP from the San Diego
County Lincoln Club.
For the first time in recent
history the SDCRP is now in the hands of a what many
consider to be a moderate Republican women.
The meeting began at 6:00PM and lasted until 10:45PM.
Foxx who has her hands full will replace Bill Marvin as
Chair assuming a rather large debt including back pay
owed to SDCRP Executive Director Scott Vydra.
Those present at the sometimes rancorous meeting
included Congressmen "Duke" Cunningham and Brian Bilbray,
New Lincoln Club President Darrell Issa and Board of
Equalization Member Claude Parrish.
