MUSIC/ LINKS TO GREAT BANDS.
BIF says "Thanx be to Krsna and to Jesus and Buddha and Madonna and Allah and to Satan (tut tut) and to Sweet Potato Man :)"
Yeah for Bif! Every one of her CDs rules, so buy all of them, then yer will be cool just like her.. All her music comes totally from her personally, none of it is fake, it all means something to her and that just makes her even more special. Her first album rules with songs like "My Bike" and "Daddy's getting Married". Also, her 'album' OKENSPAY ORDWAY 1 is really cool, but she is NOT singing, just talking. It's 70 minutes of her thoughts on tattoos, ballet, and being an asshole. (tut tut again) Get it!
YES, I really think she's awesome and she should be told this, so email her at bif@aquariusrecords.com . Yeah Bif!!
Ok, Alana Davis is pretty new, and she's so cool! Her version of '32 Flavours' is great! (Although it was actually written by the awesome ANI DI FRANCO:)
If you're into jazzy contemporary style, Alana is perfect! Know of any good sites with her on? Let me know Please - I'd be grateful
One of my favorite bands is Smashing Pumpkins. (yeah!~~!) They have come such a long way from a simple yet gorgeous alternative band that made such songs as Tonight Tonight, Blew Away, Stumbline and Luna(my favourites) to a new age sound. They have matured as a band so much and, while they might not be as popular as they once were, they seem to be more in control of their music. I'm currently searching for a great SP site - sorry 'bout that.. check back soon and they'll be a page up, hopefully!
