's* Books of the Bible Search!!!
Welcome to my Books of the Bible Search!!! This page is made so that you can print it out and stuff... But enjoy this and have fun with it.
Instructions: The following paragraph contains the names of 25 Biblical books. A Bible scholar is said to have found 20 of them in 30 minutes, but the rest took him somewhat longer. Just for the fun of it, see how many you can find. Write the names in (If you decide to print this out). There are 25 books, but some are listed more than once!! So be careful. Not every book in the Bible is listed in this paragraph either. Do your best to find the selected books.... Then challenge others with this exercise!! The books of Mark and Luke have been highlighted for you, just so you can get the feel of things. Give it a try!!!
The Bible, a friend once remarked, names 17 hidden books. This comment, a real lulu, kept me looking so hard for the facts that finding them was a varitable revelation. Some folks soon found themselves in a jam, especially since the names of the books were uncapitalized. The truth finally struck home for me and numbers of others, but for everyone involved it proved to be a job and a half. I hope it provides a most fascinating few moments for you. And, yes, there will be some names easy to spot while others, more subtle, might make you wish you had judges to lend a hand. I admit it usually takes tenacity to find certain names, and you might utter loud lamentations till you cry Eureka. A little lady says that she brews a cup of herb tea to help her concentrate. On the other hand, a few folks, liking serious searches such as this, persist until they succeed. For inspiration you might recite some psalms or even continue the search while in the john. But don't just peter out and give up. Think of one of the old proverbs such as "The race is not to the swift nor to the strong, but to those who endure to the end." Many such sayings were had among the Romans, who in turn had borrowed some from the Greeks. But don't be like Jonah, who said, "I ain't gonna," when the Lord asked him to go to Nineveh. Even in the famed exodus some of the diehards refused to leave Egypt. Nearer to home, 'tis said that Daniel Webster enjoyed challenges like this. Anyway, see how well you can compete. Relax, take a deep breath, and give it the old college try. I'm confident that you can find all 25 Biblical books in this paragraph.
Okay! Get out an extra piece of paper and begin the hunt! The 1st two books are done for you.... For Example:
1. Mark (which is clearly marked in red)
2. Luke (Marked in red as well)
E-mail me if you get all of them!!!
