HERE IS OUR FIRST PROJECT!

Here is the letter that Michael Levine has written to Governor Wilson concerning the paparazzi laws. He has asked that we write a letter to Governor Wilson supporting his letter, with a copy to Michael Levine. Also we are asking that you send a copy to us, so that we can keep track of the groups progress. You can send your letters to us via e-mail or snail mail. REMEMBER! This is a world wide effort, so if you are located out of the US thats great! Lets get those letters written, and sent off!!

Dear Governor Wilson:

I trust you were saddened, as everyone else was, by the death of Princess Diana and producer Dodi Fayed. The fact that the exact nature of the cause of these deaths is still not fully known does nothing to diminish the point that outrageous and criminal behavior on the part of as many as seven paparazzi photographers may have contributed to the tragedy. I trust you've also witnessed a steadily growing problem with this type of media here in California.

As Governor of ths State, which is home to more celebrities and notables than perhaps all other forty nine states conbined, this issue, I trust, has been an area of concern for you.

It is for that reason that I am writing. I represented producer Dodi Fayed for a year, as part of my work as a celebrity publicist. In addition, I have represented many other world famous celebrities including Michael Jackson, Barbra Streisand, Charleton Heston, Demi Moore, Michael J. Fox, and Nancy Kerrigan.

During the last five years, I have noticed a significant change in the behavior of the tabloid media, going from obnoxious to criminal. The tragedy in Paris demonstrated that innocent lives are now being jeopardized.

It is for this reason that I'm writing you. I propose you instigate new legislation modeled after the Son of Sam Laws that would prohibit criminal media from profiting from the sale of photographs and other material when obtained in connection with commission of a crime.

I firmly believe that an expanded version of the Son of Sam law is the only proper response to this criminal behavior. If I can be of any service to you and your staff I stand ready to assist. I would appreciate your consideration and look forward to hearing from you.
