It all starts at 11am on Saturday July11, in Huntsville Town Centre. Get there early for the best seats along the parade route and the start of a great day.
Over 40 contestants will dress up there floating bathtub in the hopes of winning one of several awards just in case they don't survive the derby. You'll enjoy the variety of floats as they pass you, heading to the Town Dock. Once there, they will prepare their tub to ensure it is sea-worthy. Then the real fun starts!
Then the contestants try their luck negotiating their bathtub through a floating obstacle course. They will have to scoop up duckies, sponges, toss hoola-hoops at floating pilons and still try to stay afloat. But thats not all, they have to watch out they don't get sunk by our friendly fire dept at the twist 'n shout or the wall of water! Their fellow contestants are not always nice, some dirty tricks happen when they least expect it, and down they go. Its all just a part of the most "SPLASHTACULAR EVENT" of the summer.
