THE man THAT I LOVED...
  • She broke her promise,
  • and begged for another chance.
  • But he wouldn't listen,
  • He got up, and walked away.
  • Never to return.
  • he was her only hope,
  • And now, he was gone.
  • Her vision blurred.
  • but this time, not because of the
  • fine dust that had destroyed her,
  • but because her life had just come to an end.
  • He was her life.
  • And now, he was gone.
  • She had no friends, no family, no money.
  • Nothing.
  • She tried to focus on her surroundings,
  • and waived her arms around aimlessly,
  • not knowing what to do with herself.
  • He was the only one who loved her.
  • And now, he was gone.
  • Memories of her disturbing life continually
  • hammered at her head.
  • Just like the great waves that violently
  • crashed and pounded against the rocks
  • far below the crumbling cliff she stood upon.
  • he was everything.
  • And now, he was gone.
  • Make it stop!
  • Her vision now returned,
  • and she could see so clear,
  • it was as if she were seeing
  • her surroundings for the first time.
  • He gave her his love.
  • And now, he was gone.
  • The ocean. so Beautiful. So Majestic.
  • How she wished she could be
  • a part of something so breath-taking.
  • The waves continued to crash harshly
  • against the strong unfeeling rocks.
  • He gave her so many chances.
  • And now, he was gone.
  • Overhead, seagulls flew freely over the
  • magnificent ocean.
  • she wanted to be like them.
  • The seemed so free, something she never was.
  • She was a prisoner of her own mind.
  • He made her happy.
  • And now, he was gone.
  • The ocean and the seagulls
  • were at peace, and that
  • was all she ever wanted.
  • She closed her eyes,
  • and became part of the ocean.
  • He walked out of her life.
  • And now, she was gone.
