OBJECTIVE

To find an entry level position in the audio industry that will use and develop my technical and creative skills as well as prepare me for becoming a recording engineer.

QUALIFICATIONS

I have been trained in many recording skills and I have a good fundamental knowledge of studio and production practices. I have worked on live sound, theatrical, lighting design, electrical and pyrotechniques. I also have a good working knowledge of studio equipment including, ADAT, digital 8's, hard disk, reel to reel -1/8 to 2", 24 track recording and Midi application. I also have good knowledge in microphones, effects timing, acoustic, monitor boards and editing. I also have had good client relations. I am dedicated to becoming a well rounded audio professional. I will prove myself to be a hard worker, and someone deserving of trust and responsibility.

EDUCATION

I received a certificate in Recording Engineering and Music ction. I have over 200 hours of training in music recording and production. Emphasis was placed on hands on in studio session experience, with supplemental classroom study on a broad range of music industry topics. I worked on 16 and 24 track music projects. I completed media projects involving MIDI and SMPTE production techniques. Other skills learned were blade editing and digital editing.

I have been playing the guitar the past four years and will be taking more lessons this fall at IUPUI. I also have some keyboard knowledge. I have sat in on some basic studio projects at AMPS here in Indianapolis with Mark Lieberman who was also my guitar instructor.

INTERESTS

Outside of my career interests of music and audio, I enjoy being with family and friends, traveling, mountain biking, as well as BMX racing, camping, hiking, and playing different instruments.
