And here he wonders
What he’s going to do
Oh bother, I forgot-
It’s Piglet’s too!
“Pooh” said Rabbit kindly, “you haven’t any brain!”
“I know”, said Pooh humbly.
“My it’s quite blustery out today,” said Pooh.
“It must be Wednesday.”
“They might or they might not,” said Winnie the Pooh.
“You can never tell with bees.”
“Bother!” said Pooh. “Isn’t there anybody here at all?” “Nobody.”
Winnie the Pooh took his head out of the hole, and thought for a little,
and he thought to himself, “There must be somebody there,
because somebody must have said ‘Nobody’.”
Winnie the Pooh looked around to see that nobody was listening,
put his paw to his mouth, and said in a deep whisper: “HONEY!”
Pigelts are very tiny
They’re not even big for their size
Everything is very frightening
When seen through a Piglet’s eyes.
“I think,” said Piglet. “I think that I have just remembered
something that I forgot to do yesterday and shan’t be able to do
tomorrow. So I suppose I really ought to go back and do it now.”
