Once upon a time (hey, all the best stories begin this way) there were three brothers named Jacob, Joseph and Benjamin Baker. These three men lived in Germany but decided a better life awaited them in the new world. So in the late 1700's, they packed up their belongings and came to Nova Scotia.They first settled in Lunenburg. Jacob found he this did not suit him so he emigrated to the United States. Little further is known of him, except it is "presumed" he died in the war of 1812. Joseph took off for parts unknown, never to be heard of since. Benjamin eventually married and settled down and raised a family. This union produced many descendants, a few of whom are listed below.
