This page and it's accompanying pages are dedicated to HENRY, Band Number "KOR-93-18518, the pigeon shown above. I found him injured, scared, and lost. In the three weeks he stayed with me, before recuperating and going home to his family, he rekindled my love of pigeons and the results are my fantail family, shown in these web pages.

I am currently located in the Republic of Korea. I am the manager of a small military library on Camp Casey, a military installation located in the city of Tongduchon, Korea.
My Pigeon Story - How It All Started
This link entitled "My Pigeon Story - How It All Started" describes the events leading to my pigeon status (or lack of it) today. This story was first written on the Pigeon Mailing List during late April and early May. It was written in four parts because it turned out to be much longer a story than I intended. I was amazed when I received dozens of E-mails commenting on how much people enjoyed my story. It has since been published in an on-line journal entitled "In The Loft" and in a Rochester, New York pigeon club bulletin. It is also slated to be published in the National Pigeon Association Quarterly Bulletin, in an upcoming edition. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed (for the most part) living it. Keep in mind, it is quite long. Also, there is an UPDATE section after the end of the story to bring it up to date.

I am fortunate that I live on the second floor of my apartment building downtown, as the water was over seven feet high surrounding my building.
