About Me:

Hello! My name is Brian Simpson. Currently, I reside in the lower mainland of, Vancouver, British Columbia. Since 1985 I have connected, upgraded and programmed computers, for home-based users. In addition, I have designed, and maintained websites, networks and security systems for various companies here in Vancouver.

I recently worked as a Network Administrator with a major ISP for a chain of Hotels and Conventions Centres. I was part of a team of engineers who developed a wireless solution using Aironet technology to provide high speed, plug & play Internet access to each complex. I had the honor of representing this same ISP as engineer at both the Vancouver and Atlanta Comdex World Trade Shows.

In the past I worked for Midwest Properties Management. (5 yr.) in B.C. And (2 yr.) in Alberta. Doing complete interior/exterior renovation to townhouses and other properties under their management. As well I worked for various construction outfits here in B.C. (framers helper) while working in computers during the evenings and weekends.

Along with my fascination with computer technology comes a passion for music, drawing, painting, sculpting, airbrushing and computer animation. Pieces of my artwork are to be found in the permanent collections of The Edmonton Art Gallery in Alberta and the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Through my web designs I have combined my artistic practice with my expertise in computer programming.
