At Moxy's first show weekend, he earned a 5 point major and a 4 point major. He just needs a few more minor points for his AKC Championship. Moxy is OFA good, has a great coat, and wonderful temperament.

Moxy earned his WC at the 2004 CCRCA National
Moxi earned his NAHRA SR in August.

Moxy was bred by Bred by Sue Marsh of Curlygleann Culies in New Zealand, and owned by Karen Van Dorn.


Kasey is OFA excellent, Cerf , Cardiac clear. She has a wonderful coat, and a nice outgoing attitude. Kasey earned her first major from the 6 to 9 month puppy class going BOB over a special, then finishes her Championship going BOB over a multi group placing special

Kasey grew up at HunterBay curlies, where she had her first litter June of last year. One of her pups was Reserve Winners Dog at the 2004 Curly Coated Retriever Club of America's National Specialty

These puppies should have great non aggressive temperaments with outgoing personalities. I expect quite a bit of birdyness. Coats should be nice and tight. I do not know if Moxy carries liver, so I am anticipating an all black litter. Moxy did have a sibling in NZ who did not pass hip clearances. Kasey comes from a litter where 9 dogs did pass hip clearances. Moxy's hips are Good, but I like to look at the whole pedigree. I believe in a way, you breed to a whole family, not just an individual dog. So I hope by bringing this strong family hip health to the pedigree, it will offset any weakness in another side of the family.

Although, I never breed a litter just for Show or Field, Kasey has had siblings who have done very well in the Showring. Several have finished there CH's by going over Group placing Specials from the classes. One was Winners Bitch, Best of Winners at a CCRCA National Specialty. Some of the siblings are now working on field, obedience and agility, as are their offspring.
