Bad News Racing team will begin racing USRA events starting with the 1999 season.
We will be racing in the Formula 1 and Thompson classes starting at Rialto and are trying to expand into other classes by the end of the '99 season.
Our original Gee Bee Model Z was cracked up during a deadstick downwind landing attempt last October :(.
We have a page with pictures of the Model Z under construction and a brief paragraph describing the destruction.

Latest News From Bad News Racing
We took the new Nemesis F1 airplane that we won at Jean out to the lake bed on Saturday Feb 27 to see if she would fly (or if we could fly her). Things went pretty well. Double click on the picture of the Nemesis above to see some photos and more details. We are currently building our new Gee Bee Model Y from Northwest Hobby Technologies. We are trying hard to get it ready for Rialto in June. We will be posting photos of the plane under construction as time permits. Click on the photo of the Model Y above to see how we are doing. The GR-7 is still in the holding pattern waiting the completion of the Gee Bee Y or the demise of the Nemesis whichever comes first.
We _ARE_ going racing in '99 whatever that takes!
