This page, like my personal tastes, is very eclectic. Deal with it. While perhaps scattered is not the right word, it does convey something of the correct sentiment. My bedroom is the perfect example. Dominating the room is a large black Victorian canopy bedframe, complete with a length of black lace draped over it, and in the middle of the whole shebang is my Yakko plushie. And then, of course, there's the black laquer bookshelf with all japanese comicbooks on it, the black drafting table with fetishy sketches hung everywhere, and the bookcase made of milkcrates and boards covered in checkerboard Contact paper. You need to be careful coming in here, too, or you'll bang your knee against the toybox (complete with the sliding chalkboard doors). Nothing matches in here. Ok. Pick something to look at first.

The Toybox is the first thing to your eft as you enter my room. It's One of the really cheap kind that everyone had as a child, complete with the chalkboard doors. Yes, it really IS full of toys, everything from Animaniacs happy meal toys to Xmen stuff and a few Barbies I've er...modified. This page, as a representation of that, is full of all kinds of kooky things. This is a sort of catch-all for anything I find even a little amusing. You may not share my sense of humor, but who cares. Peruse at your leisure, Earthlings.

The Ridiculously Ornate and Gothic Bed dominates the room. The bedframe itself is very Victorian, powdered black steel, with a length of black lace draped over the top. It is currently covered with a hunter green bedspread, with my Yakko plushie seated with honor in the middle of the whole thing. The curlicues in the framework provide me with a resting place for bits of jewelry, collars and such. It is my most extravagent piece of furniture, since sleeping is my favorite hobby. I can sleep twenty hours at a stretch if allowed. This page is full of my dreams, a small shrine to my Yakko plushie, and stuff about my cats since they're on the bed more often than not.

The Drawing Table is full of my sketches and artistic nonsense. Sometimes I rather fancy I'm an artist. The table itself is your basic standard drafting table, black and cool and new, since my brother Gecko gave to me over the holidays. There's sketches hung on the wall over it, along with various nifty craft scissors that my younger brother gave to me over the holidays. Perched on the milkcrate nearby is the book of Olivia's, Second Slice, that I use for drawing reference.

The Black Bookcase is five shelves full of all of my anime and manga and general Japanese stuffs. I'm still learning japanese, I'm nowhere NEAR fluent, but I know enough to get by, and the artwork is incredible. The bulk of my manga are Fushigi Yuugi, with Angel Sanctuary and Dragon Knights coming in close second. hehe. I'm noticing the bulk of my manga have strong yaoi themes. Hm.

The Milk Crate Bookshelf is a precariously concocted tower of milk crates and wooden boards covered with checkerboard Contact paper. It houses all of my harcover books, roleplaying materials, magazines, comics, my snake Ivy, and some toys. It seems to lean forward, waiting to attack anyone foolish enough to walk by it, but it is amazingly stable. It extends an arm out under my window, where all of my paperback books live.

The Floor is whatever else I've got lying around at the time. Clothes, mostly, these days.

go see my brother's page. It's pretty flippin' happy.
