TUPACALYPSE FOREVER

1971-1996-infinity

NOW YOU TELL ME WHO WON, WHEN I SEE THEM THEY RUN-2pac

TUPAC AMARU SHAKUR (1971-1996) an eternal part of hiphop and our lives
-It is quite aparent that Tupac had made a great many friends in and out of the business of rap and movies. It is also aparent and very true that he made an equal amount of enemies. Among them were Biggie Smalls a.k.a. Big Papa a.k.a. Christopher Wallace, Puff Daddy (Sean Combs), and Mase. Once Tupac joined the contraversial Death Row Records company, he began to throw verbal bashes at Death Row's east coast rival Bad Boy Records. But Tupac wasn't just a trouble maker.
-Tupac was originally from the east coast, being born in Brooklyn and raised in Baltimore. Tupac's mother was a Black Panther member and in prison on one or more occasions during Tupac's childhood. It is no doubt that this may have had an impact on his life. Tupac had a rough relationship with his mother as a youth, but later in his life he wrote a song Dear Mamma(on "Me Against The World") that expressed his love and appreciation for his mother's contribution to his life. The facts surrounding Tupac's father are blurry. In his lyrics, Pac had said that his father either left him and his mother or that he died when Pac was a young boy, but without a doubt, no matter what the case was, Pac did not have good feelings toward his father. (click here for more info on his father) This was most evedent in his song Papaz Song (on Pac's second solo release "Strictly 4 my N.I.G.G.A.Z"). The lyrics in this song are definitely much more than just the guns and drugs that Pac's music was normally thought to be.

-No matter if you loved him or hated him, Tupac was, without a doubt in my mind, one of the most influential rappers of all time! He was contraversial, powerful, intellegent, rugged, raw, and definitely a true thug nigga* for life!!!
*-----*For your information, because i know this word sparks anger and fustration in the hearts of so many people, Nigga is not in any way a demeaning name towards black people. To Pac, as he defined in his first solo album "Tupacalypse Now", Nigga means Never Ignorant Getting Goals Accomplished.*-----*

God knows i know more about 2pac than i can fit on this page, but if any of you want to know anything about him, or know something about him that you think i should put on the page- email me-- click on the adress at the bottom of the page. I really want to hear from you!! To all of you that aren't really into rap, you missing out on something that i take very seriously.
