HSR Destination Signs

Further to the current Hamilton Street Railway destination sign shown in the May 1998 edition of TRANSFER POINTS, I decided to post the readings from a couple of older linens for comparison. The first is the side sign from HSR 451, a CC&F CD-44A used on a Toronto Transportation Society charter on Sunday March 20th, 1977. It's interesting that BEACH ROAD, JAMES, REID, SHERMAN and STRATHEARNE each appear twice, and that KENILWORTH occurs three times. It is possible that this sign was pieced together from bits and pieces of other ones before it was installed in 451.
