EAST YORK Route History

October 29th, 1927

New bus route inaugurated from Pape and Lipton via Pape Avenue and the new Leaside Viaduct to the north end of the bridge, then returning via the same route.

April 8th, 1928

Extended north on Millwood Road and Laird Drive to Lea Avenue.

April 16th, 1928

Extended north from Lea to MacRae Drive, returning to Lipton & Pape via the same route.

July 1st, 1928

Route discontinued: EAST YORK-LEASIDE bus replaced by an extended LEASIDE route.
