Bus route started by Woodbridge Bus Lines, owned by George Watt of Thistletown, Ontario. Service provided by two Reos and two Ford Transits.

May 10th, 1926

Toronto Suburban Railways WOODBRIDGE route abandoned.

1945

Woodbridge Bus Lines purchased by Roseland Bus Lines.

September 1st, 1946

Service extended to Pine Grove on certain trips.

November, 1946

Service extended south to Lawrence Avenue, instead of from Humber Street, Weston.

June 1st, 1952

Round trips are 15.75 route miles, and run from Elsmere & Main Street, Weston, via Main, Weston Road and country roads through Thistletown to Woodbridge. Certain trips are extended during rush hours to Gamble Street in Pine Grove. Loops counterclockwise at the south end via Lawrence Avenue, South Station Street, John Street and Main to Elsmere. No local service within the Town of Weston. Running time scheduled at 60 minutes on 30, 60 and 90 minute headways. Service begins at 6:30 a.m. Monday though Saturday, and 8:30 a.m. Sunday, and finishes at 11:00 p.m. daily. Fares are 25 cents for adults and 15 cents for children.

September 15th, 1952

A total of 12 buses (fleet numbers 2/6/9/10/26-36 [even]/39/40) used on the WOODBRIDGE route, operating out of a garage at 980 Weston Road (on the west side of Weston, north of Lambton Avenue) owned by D. Murray. Painting, major overhauling and other major work is contracted out.

July 1st, 1954

Toronto independent suburban operators bought out by the new Toronto Transit Commission, and route transferred to Gray Coach Lines. Running from Lawrence & Weston via Weston Road, Albion Road, Thistletown, Woodbridge Road, Highway 7, 8th Avenue and Pine Street to Pine Grove Road, looping via Pine Grove and Willis Road, returning along 8th Avenue, Highway 7, Woodbridge Road, Albion, Weston and Main Street (Weston). Busses loop clockwise at the south end via John Street, South Station Street and Lawrence Avenue. Service provided 18 hours per day, seven days a week. Sunday trips operate through the Thistletown Hospital Grounds.

December 12th, 1955

No change in routing. Service transferred to the TTC and operated with red city buses. In areas where there are no designated stops, operators pick up and discharg passengers on request.

Effective this date, Sunday trips through Thistletown Hospital are canceled due to hospital closure.

January 5th, 1958

Combined with the 87 WESTMOUNT route. Route now begins at Dundas & Runnymede and operates via north on Runnymede Road, west on Henrietta Street, north on Castleton Avenue, west on Pritchard Avenue, north on Jane Street, west on Foxwell Street, north on Scarlett Road, east on Lawrence, northeast on Little Avenue, then over the existing route to Pine Grove.

Blondin Loop opened at Weston & Albion for short turn 93A Wilson buses. Through service does not enter the loop.

February 18th, 1963

Service extended one quarter mile north of Pine Grove Road to St. Margaret Mary Church, and loops counterclockwise through the driveway in front of the church.

September 21st, 1963

Southbound through service operates through Blondin Loop.

January 24th, 1966

Route transferred from Parkdale to Queensway Garage.

February 26th, 1966

Southern terminus of the route is now Blondin Loop. Service south of Wilson Avenue provided by new 79 SCARLETT RD. route.

Resurfacing of the St. Margaret-Mary church yard necessitates the diversion of the north end loop via west on Davidson Drive, north on Waymar Heights Boulevard and east on Gamble Street.

October 10th to 26th, 1967

Same diversion in effect for sewer work.

April 28th, 1969

Effective this date, northbound service terminates at Steeles Avenue, with the exception of certain rush hour trips which continue north to Pine Grove. Buses run from Blondin Loop via Weston Road, Albion Road and Islington Avenue to Satterly Road, looping clockwise via east on Satterly, north on Plunkett Road and west on Steeles to Islington Avenue. It is assumed that the church extension was also eliminated as of this date.

93A Steeles buses commence using new loop on Steeles just west of Islington. Last on-street looping via Satterly at 8:40 a.m.

September 4th, 1971

93A Steeles service is discontinued at the end of service this day, replaced by the 37 ISLINGTON extension to Steeles.

In conjunction with the Monday-Friday rush hour service to Pine Grove, a new "Shoppers" service begins between Blondin Loop and Braeburn Woods, via Weston, Albion and Arcot Boulevard, looping counterclockwise around Tandridge Crescent and return over reverse routing to Blondin Loop.

Braeburn Woods Shopping Service discontinued due to lack of patronage.

July 10th, 1972

Blondin Loop direction reversed.

July 23rd, 1973

Fares change outside of Metro Toronto.

January 6th, 1975

Route changed: morning trips now run from Blondin Loop via Weston Road, Albion Road, Islington Avenue, Highway 7, Kipling Avenue, Woodbridge Avenue and Islington to Pine Grove, returning south via Islington, Woodbridge, Martin Grove and Highway 7, then south over the regular route to Walsh Avenue (Blondin Loop).

August 29th, 1975

Service discontinued upon completion of the 5:35 p.m. trip between Blondin Loop and Pine Grove Loop.

September 2nd, 1975.

Town of Vaughan begins to operate minibus service from Woodbridge to Steeles Avenue.
