July 1st, 1954

New TTC route (replacing Hollinger Bus Lines' I.B.M. service) from Pape & O'Connor via east on O'Connor Drive and north on Don Mills Road through the Don Valley to Lawrence Avenue. Buses loop north and east on The Donway East west on Lawrence at the north end, and south on Peplar, west on Woodville and north on Pape Avenue at the south end. Rush hour extension north to York Mills and west to the Sheriffs Plant just east of the Canadian National Railwaytracks, looping in parking lot. Operated from Woodbine garage. One bus provides base service on a 60 minute headway, and a second bus is added during rush hours reducing headways to 30 minutes.

November 26th, 1956

Assigned route number 25. York Mills service extended into a large counterclockwise loop west from the Sheriffs Plant, south on Leslie Street and east on Lawrence to route. Initially operated on a 90-minute headway.

August 26th, 1957

In conjunction with the opening of Eglinton Avenue East between Laird Drive and Don Mills and the inauguration of the new 34 EGLINTON EAST bus, all 25 DON MILLS service is rerouted in the south end to run via west on Eglinton to the Yonge Subway.

Sunday service begins, from approximately 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.

February 26th, 1966

In conjunction with the opening of the Bloor-Danforth subway, 25 DON MILLS buses rerouted south of Eglinton via south on Don Mills, west on Overlea Boulevard, south on Millwood Drive, across the Leaside Viaduct and south on Pape to the new Pape Station, just north of Danforth Avenue. Service on Leslie Street discontinued, replaced by new 51 LESLIE buses. At the same time, the route is also extended north of York Mills over the new Highway 401 overpass and past Sheppard Avenue, looping around new Peanut Plaza just south of Van Horne.

25C Highway 7 service now runs mid-day Monday to Friday and all day (from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.) on Saturdays. New Monday to Friday rush hour extension to 16th Avenue, Markham. From Pape Station over the regular 25C route to Leslie & Highway 7, then along a large clockwise loop via west on Highway 7, north on West Beaver Creek and Granton, east on 16th Avenue, south on Mural and East Beaver Creek and west on Highway 7 to Leslie on a 30:00 minute a.m. headway and 29:00 minute p.m. headway.
