Here are some quick facts. I will be adding on to this page but here is what I have for now.
Some of the dreams you dream are in color, not always in black and white as commonly believed
Everyone dreams. When people say they didn't dream they really just forgot them
The average person can go through an estimated total of about 150,000 dreams in their lifetime
Approximately 4 years are spent dreaming

Animals dream too

In Russia, scientists have said to have predicted the start of physical illnesses from their patients dreams. Many lives were saved because of this.
Alcohol makes your dreams shorter. Once an alcoholic has withdrawn from their addiction, they dream for almost 100 percent of their sleep time
Most little childrens dreams consist of animals. As they grow older, less animals appear in their dreams.Less than 8 percent of dreaming time for adults has animals in it
Apprehension and fear are most commonly experienced in childrens dreams and they normally find themselves victims.
Our muscle tone decreases when we dream. This is thought to be so that we don't act out the actions occurring in the dreams
