Hello and welcome to this page.
First off, let me thank Angelfire for providing this page for free.
I was born in the beautiful garden city of Bangalore in India and spent a
very idyllic childhood at St Anthony's Boys' School and later at St Joseph's Boys' High School
. From there, I "jumped the wall" into St Joseph's College
where I completed my BA in Economics and History in 1969. It was at this time
that I went into Drama and Theatre work quite enthusiastically and co-founded
the Zodiac Drama Group and played drums for a swinging beat group called
"The Dinosaurs" .
I began my work life at British India Tobacco Corporation in Guntur and in
1972, I moved to Mussoorie in the foot-hills of the mighty Himalayan mountains
to teach at Hampton Court School.
In 1977, I shifted to
Baroda to do a B Ed degree and then an M Ed degree.
Finding that I did enjoy the academic life, I did a Ph D in Educational
Management; my doctorate being on Achievement Motivation levels and
Managerial Styles among managers from Industrial and Educational sectors.
I also lectured at The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda from 1986 to 1994
when my wife, Loretta and I shifted to Australia
I now work at Charles Sturt University in Albury where I am the Academic
Development Officer. I also lecture to MBA students on Global Business Communication.
