OUR HOME IN MAINE

This is our house, at least what it looks like about six months out of the year. The snow was pretty high then, but probably wasn't at it's deepest. Now it's summer. Lush green grass covers the yard. Behind our plot lie potatoe and barley fields. Across the street grows broccoli. Beyond the fields grow dense woods. One advantage to all the snow and rain we get; we never have to worry about watering our lawn!

Here's a view from the back of the house. I was looking straight out of the back patio. Daniel was on top of a snow bank that was chest high. You can see the woods out beyond the potato fields in the background. Most days when you walk along the edge of the woods you can spot deer and moose tracks. At night we can hear the coyotes yapping. Maxi has even chased a few deer back into the woods. Dennis and Daniel had to take the truck out to entice her to come out of the woods. She loves to ride in the truck.
