Freakishly Prompt (A Blog)

Hello my name is Kristine ......... I am currently 36 years old, 5 foot 3 inches tall, (yeah, yeah.. I know I'm short!). I am a born and raised Canadian, who is currently living in Edmonton, Alberta.   I am well traveled… having lived in New Zealand until I was 6 years old before moving back to Canada.  I traveled around the world with my parents by the time I was the ripe old age of 2. I have also been to Scotland on numerous occasions to visit my family there.  I think because of my parent’s influence, I too love to travel… In 1997 I spent some time in Tarpon Springs FL.  In 2001 Scott (my then fiancé), and I went to Australia (Melbourne, Cairns, & Dunk Island).  On our most recent trip Scott and I flew down to Fort Lauderdale FL and headed out on a Princess Cruise of the Caribbean (Princess Cays Bahamas, Grand Cayman & Cozumel) for our honeymoon.

I was married in 2002 to my husband Scott, who is also my best friend.  Married life has been an easy transition for me, and I look forward to our future and all that it has in store.  In 2003 we moved out of our 1 bedroom apartment and into our brand new 3-bedroom home.  Let me tell you the extra space was needed! Now that we own our own house there always seems to be some type of home improvement project on the go, I guess it doesn't matter how new or old a house is for that.  Scott & I don’t have any children, we both want to enjoy married life for a while before we decide if starting a family is something we want to do.

I have two tattoos (one on each ankle); one is of Betty Boop, and the other is small tattoo of Hot Stuff, (the little devil)... I have been told that both the tattoos suit me well. *smile*  Although truth be told, my husband does not care for tattoos... So because of that I will not be getting anymore. I am known for my giggle, laugh, dimples, and for not being very shy when it comes to talking about any subject when ever I feel like it. (I'm sure my friends agree with that one!)*LOL*

I am a typical Pisces female... I love to be romanced... I'm very loyal (friends & my relationships mean a lot to me).... I'm caring, creative, I try to be unselfish, I'm compassionate, and basically a flirt or goofy when I want to be. :0)

My closest friends are very important to me...  Some of these friendships.... have really stood the test of time. (You know who you are)...   And I am thankful that they have always been there for me on those occasions in my life when I needed them most *hugs*.

I have always had interests and natural abilities that drew me towards computers and the Internet. I enjoy designing web pages and spending time on the computer.  I also enjoy Scrapbooking or playing Sims2 in my spare time. I have to admit the Nintendo Wii has become a bit of a passion these days as well.

Since I moved to Alberta almost 12 years ago now, I must admit that I have become an Edmonton Oilers fan, and I have been following hockey more closely these days.... But the Vancouver Canucks will always remind me of home and all the years I was a Canucks fan, due to the fact that I grew up in Squamish, BC.   Squamish is 45 minutes North of Vancouver, between Vancouver & Whistler.   I think Squamish and my friends there will always have a special place in my heart.  And I have to tell you where are times where I do miss the mountains and the ocean there, just not all the rain ;0).

I also love animals... I love the companionship and the unconditional love that comes with owning a pet. I have always been drawn into pet stores to check out the animals, and have owned everything from dogs, cats, ferrets, fish, and birds while I was growing up...
