The Sheltons
Tonya & Karl were married on July 7, 1990. They are both California
natives, who grew up primarily in Claremont, CA. They met in 1980
when Tonya's brother & Karl were active in the Boy Scouts.
Shortly after being married they moved from Claremont to Norco, CA, where they
developed a collection of animals 2-Horses, 2-Dogs, 3 cats.
Then along came
In 1995, Karl left his 5 year position as a salesman with Phillips Pontiac Mazda. The family moved to Chino, for one year and then on to San Diego.
After 4 years as members of Norco Christian Chruch, their move to San Diego forced the search for a new church. They were quickly led to Pomerado Christian Church in Poway.
As a family, they enjoy roller blading and riding their Tandem Bicycle, with a Tag-A-Long for Blaine. A Tag-A-Long is the back half of a bicycle turned into a bike trailer so that Blaine can pedal or coast as he sees fit.
Go to the people of all nations and make them my disciples.
Baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son & The Holy Spirit, and teach
them to do everything I have told you. I will be with you always, even unto
the end of the world.
