The Meta-Beast were formed by Dr. Benjamin Hitmar. When he originally created them, they only numbered 100 various types and warriors, but that number has drastically grown since they were first created. Through reproduction there are now numerous clans that are said to live in the Madradgar Jungle, though all are still aligned with each other and very close. Even so, the Meta-Beast are still one of the fewest populated races in Zeotopia. Only the fabled Hyperfuries have fewer numbers in their ranks. What the Meta-Beast lack in numbers and technology (which they also have very little of), they more then make up for in combat skills and diversity. Every Meta-Beast is noble, brave, strong, skilled, and smart. A Meta-Beast warrior will NEVER run from battle out of cowardness or fear. Not a ton of information about the Meta-Beast has been gathered because of their reclusive nature. They keep to themselves for the most part, and are well hidden away deep in the jungles of Zeotopia. They never go looking for a fight, but will defend themselves to the death if need be. They have aligned themselves with the Neo Sapiens before to help better both sides and defeat greater evils, but these alliances often do not last long before each side does not see eye to eye and goes their own way.

Razor Claw

Class: Medium - Infantry Strength: 5 | Speed: 5 | Durability: 4 | Intelligence: 7 | Skill: 6

The first warrior that will be described is the most common soldier in the Meta-Beast ranks, the Razor Claw. Most of these soldiers are most active during night, choosing to sleep a good portion of the day. They are the night patrols and guards in the Meta-Beast civilization. They are much more agile and strong then your average human soldier. They are skilled with a number of weapons and wear very little armor, though use it more effectively then most humans with twice the protection. Even without any weapons they are still known to use their claws and teeth to rip an opponent to shreds if need be. It is said that cornering these creatures and the scent of their fallen comrade's blood will drive them into a furious fighting frenzy. When this happens, it is highly advised that you RUN, even though it will do you little to no good. The Razor Claw warriors are able to move through the trees and on the ground alike at speeds up to 30 mph. It is not advised to battle with Razor Claws, as they can seem to spring out of no where in the night from trees and often kill their prey before they even realize what has happened. Most units never even see these attacks coming before it is far to late.

Moon Stalker

Class: Medium - Scout Strength: 3 | Speed: 7 | Durability: 3 | Intelligence: 8 | Skill: 7

Another type of soldier in the Meta-Beast ranks is the Moon Stalker. These are less common then most of the other Meta-Beast warriors, but very skilled at their jobs which include such roles as scouts, hunters, trackers, and protectors of the forest. They are often the first to notify a Meta-Beast village of any aggressive outside behavior that occurs under the jungle canopy. They are among the fastest ground moving units, reaching speeds up to 35 mph. Moon Stalker warriors are known to track poachers or other creatures that have broken the jungle code until they are brought to justice. They will never give up the hunt, they will either complete their task or will die trying. Moon Stalkers are very skilled with a number of weapons including their crossbows, short lance-like weapons, and scimitars. Their favorite is the crossbow though, and they make up the backbone of the Meta-Beast army missile attacks. A Moon Stalker warrior is said to be able to hit falling leaf with his crossbow from over 100 yards away.

Storm Wing

Class: Light - Aerial/Scout Strength: 2 | Speed: 10 | Durability: 2 | Intelligence: 9 | Skill: 6

The next soldier in the Meta-Beast ranks is their only known aerial unit, Storm Wing. These warriors serve as the main patrols, often able to spot an enemy attack or suspicious activity and report so that a village can properly prepare. They can fly extremely fast, able to reach speeds of 48 mph. Their sight is so very well advanced allowing them to see many times beyond that of normal human eyesight. The Storm Wing weapon of choice is their axe or specialized spear. Often they will use to spear as a javalin to pick off oncoming enemies as they fly overhead, weaving all over the sky. This makes it very, very difficult for anyone to shoot one down. Storm Wings also carry a small crossbow on their forarms, though this is used more as an emergency then the backbone of their weapon defense. In close melee combat, they use axes which they often dual wield and use with great efficiency.

Thunder Shaman

Class: Heavy - Medic Strength: 7 | Speed: 4 | Durability: 5 | Intelligence: 10 | Skill: 4

The last known warrior in the Meta-Beast civilization is the Thunder Shaman. These are the most scarce of all Meta-Beast warriors and often do not partake in battle unless need be. They are very spiritual and ritualistic, often serving as the heads of small Meta-Beast villages as priest-type figures. They have a great range of magic and potions available at their disposal to cure wounds and diseases warriors may be afflicted with. In time of battle, they are not only medics, but are also very capable of battling. Though not as skilled in combat as the rest of the Meta-Beast creatures, they can take a ton of punishment. Their large size and thick hide enables them to take quite a bit of damage and keep going. With their relatively large size you would think they would be cumbersome and bulky, but that is not the case at all. They are extremely agile and can swing through trees at an incredibly fast pace. Their weapon of choice is the boomerang they use to great effect to not kill, but rather knock out opponents. If need be they also have in their arsenal a spear which they can throw or stab oncoming enemies with and a ceremonial sword which can be used to slash and stab enemies. Other then these three weapons, the Thunder Shaman use their large fist to simply crush opponents. The roar of a Thunder Shaman after they have slain an enemy is deafening and the pounding of their chest is a sight to behold, it is truly magnificent.
