Dog Buyers Checklist

• Write down what kind of personality for a dog would best fit your lifestyle.
• Do research on different breeds and make a list of 4 different ones that look good.
• Do more research on the ones that you chose and eliminate one breed.
• It is always good to have a few choices of breeds. List the breeds in order of preference.
• Look in your local pet shop or paper for dogs for sale. Call ALL of them. You can always back out later.
• Visit the dogs and choose one. Wait a few days before buying it to make sure you want it.
