Choosing: Breeds and Dogs

Things to Watch Out for in Breeds:

When you go into the pet shop or breeders home to look at the dogs, are you overwhelmed with all the different ones? Here are a few tips to choosing the right one.
1. Look at how the different dogs interact with eachother. DO NOT buy the ones that do not interact with the others. They will not be sociable.
2. Dont buy one that is very hyper, or one that is sleeping all the time. Choose one in between.
3. If one has loss of hair, is sneezing or coughing a lot, has a dry nose, or has eyes that are crusty, DO NOT buy it. It is sick or depressed.
4. When deciding between male or female, keep these facts in mind: Dogs tend to bond to the opposite gender of humans. If you already have a male dog, get a female one; males tend to fight with eachother. Females are ok when put together. Males are usualy more independent than females, though each dog is different.
