Water to Replace Gasoline

The cars we drive today are run by the burning of fossil fuels. This means that hydrogen in fuel cells is being burned in order to extract the energy needed to start your car’s engine. Unfortunately, there a couple of problems faced with the usage of this method. One is that the gasoline we use to run our vehicles is an expensive energy resource. The second very large problem we have is that the burning of fossil fuels is known to pollute the atmosphere with carbon dioxide, a natural atomospheric gas, but in excess, will speed up our Earth's warming system knowna s the Greenhouse Effect. For these reasons, many new methods to run a vehicle have been researched and experimented with. One of the latest innvoations in this field of technology has been to use the energy of pure hydrogen as a replacement for gasoline, which burns fossil fuels. Hydrogen produces no carbon dioxide emmissions, or any other pollutants for that matter, which is a dramatic environmental benefit. What has most recently been searched for is an economic way to extract the energy of hydrogen from a simple H2O particle, or in other words, water. Thus, we are currently looking for a way to use water as a replacement for gasoline. A small company in Toronto, Canada, called Rothman Technologies, has developed a method to do just this.
