yo gang how's it hanging?

What's new? Is anyone thinking of coming back this year? How's hockey going on Jeremy/John? That picture of John dumped in the canoe by the sweeper is hillarious? Probably as funny as Sarah and I running whitewater together on Day 1. Are you excited for skiing Sarah? Colin, do you have a purpose yet? Laura, I still didn't hear about your guide trip in Algonquin. How was it? Alex, are you still wearing boxers? Simon, what do you think of Mr. Miller? Maybelle, For the last time...No I will not marry you! Geez...

keep in touch guys or i'll do something to your face.

nice to hear from you all.......wait a minute........

I just got a note in the email about.....

"A documentary exploring a historic Lake Timiskaming tragedy will air at 8:00pm Thursday on TVOntario.
The Studio 2 documentary, Accepting Risk:Outdoor Adventure Education and the Lake Timiskaming Canoeing Tragedy, reviews the June 11, 1978, outing involving 27 boys and four leaders from St. John's School in Claremont, Ont., in which 12 boys and one leader died of hypothermia.
The tragedy, which made headlines around the world and cast a shadow over outdoor education programs, will be reviewed in interviews with survivors, parents and heroes who helped to rescue the 15 surviving boys."

Hey everyone!
I was just cleaning out my email and i opened the email with the link to this thing. i haven't checked it since i first gothe message, and feel knida guilty because we're so out of touch. so i've been real busy this winter ski racing. the season is almost over - i leave tomorrow for nationals in charlo NB, and then i'm off the Colorado for a week of more races (though life, having to travel to colorado and ski all day). funny story - i was in Thunder bay for races in early Feb. One of the mornings the local paper was dropped at our hotel room door, so i picked it up and read the front story. It was about a youth conference at Lakhead and they intervieved some girl named Marianne Glazier - i thought the last name sounded like may's,but i had no clue who Marianne was. Of course, i was sitting in my room a couple of hours later going " wait a sec, her name isn't may, it's marianne!" Good job at your conference Marianne! I hope that school's going well for the rest of you. My sister is going to visit Guelph is a couple of weeks, and i really wanted to go, but i'll be away which is a bit of a bummer. Jeremy and i have been involed in some heated email debates on the leafs - sens issue, and i would like to point out that the sens currently ahead of the leafs in the standings and ready to kick the leaf's ass' in the playoffs. that's i'll have have to report from ottawa! later,
John
