Brief History:
(place a subheader here if you want)

Despcrition: A sickly white, elephantine body, ponderously clumsy man. An abnormally large forehead seems to bring out the long wirey hair with splits ends. His arms seem to protude longer than legs giving him an ape like walk., adding to the camel like hump on the back. No eye lids force him to constantly put water in his eyes. Smelling strangely like cabbage. He seems to have unusually large joints and a large beak like nose. Brief History: To whom it may concern: Behind every man there is an underlying story whether they choose to share this or not, it still exists. Seen through their actions, reactions, likes and dislikes. If you're reading this you've probably come across the anomaly known as Tark. I presume you have come to me to get answers to your questions, I have no answers all I can share with you is his life. You must derive answers to your questions from this. Like many Mirlads, Tark was deserted at birth and he still remains unclear on his mother or father's existence. As I questioned Tark, he seemed to block out much of the past. I assume this was sort of a self-defense mechanism. Now that I've thoroughly explained the situation I am in, let me get on with this story. From the time Tark could stand to the age of 10 he had worked in the Halfling village as an indentured servant. Tark was unable to identify the name of his master but I did happen to notice that when I spoke of his time spent in the Halfling village, he became placid and recluse. While many children were being taught to read and write, Tark was forced to work. This could explain his asymmetrical speech patterns as well as his crude manners. According to Tark, near the age of 10 he decided that he would no longer suffer the burdens of bondage and left the Halfling village. After traveling for nearly 2 months without shelter, he found himself near the caves north of Novdom. I believe it was the Derro people he had spoken of and described. He recounted the relationship he had with the Derros almost identical to the relationship he had described with the Halfling. He had found himself working under the rules as bondage. Having the inquisitive nature I possess I asked why he accept his role in this society and not in the Halfling village. His response was that they taught him skills and crafts he had not known of. He seemed determined to let me know that this is where he was taught the adept fishing skills he possesses to this day. He estimates around the age of 17, he had been asked to leave to the caves of the Derros. Apparently the King of the Derros had decided that Tark was obsolete to the community and his services were no longer need. Although I did not question him about this, I presume the skills he so gladly talks about are not as proficient as he might expect. After a brief explanation of his journey's and hasty stint as a fishmonger we've come to the present day. Or what I describe as Tark's existing situation. Tark still has illusions of becoming a great fishmonger. But doesn't quite understand that a market does not exist for headless fish. Although the story of Tark seems rather incomplete it was difficult to write about such an ignorant person. I traveled with Tark for nearly two weeks and learned absolutely nothing. He survives, in my opinion, only because he seems to be under the good graces of Lord Nixil. Before I depart I must remind you; the questions you've come to get answered will not be answered. For someone who survives on fish heads and killing those who intrude on what he believes is his pond, you should not expect answers. I bid thee a due. Sincerely, Liam Graham Bard of the Woods:
