STARGATE SG-1 is the best show u can ever see. it began in 1997. i didnt start watching it untill 2001 though. but since then i have seen it almost every week. ive seen almost every episode. but this i will not be sure untill the seasons 5, 6 and 7 come out on dvd.
stargate season 1 is basically about helping people understand and learn more about the different races, technologies and potential and actual enemies. it starts of with the pilot "children of the gods." this episode takes sg-1 to chulak the goa'uld apophisis' home world at the time. the team gets captured and put in a jail with about a hundred other people. the goa'uld are looking for hosts for there children and they walk through. after they choose the hosts, teal'c, first prime of apophis, is ordered to kill the rest of them. he believes that jack and his team will be able to save the rest of the people, so he turns his weapon on the other serpent gaurd. teal'c and jack kill the serpent gaurd and run for the stargate. they get under attack from a goa'uld death glider. sg-2 destroys the glider with a gun that shot a missle. they run to the stargate again and dial home and run through the gate.
