| Taquani is a religion or a way of life. Not many know
about it, but I do, and I follow the ideas and use it as my religion. |

Taquani is about being yourself. It puts a very few
limits on you and tells you to do the same to others. In the following,
I'll try and explain how and why to you |

The Rock:
The Rock is the fundamental in Taquani.
You can look at a rock, see the details and think that you know all
about it. But if you show that very same rock to your friend, he might
see something different about it, notice another detail, or maybe not
noticing it.
If you move a bit to a side, then you will see new details on the rock,
and you'll get more knowledge about it, but still, you can't tell a
friend exactly WHAT to see on the rock, the two of you will always see
the rock in different ways.
If you leave the rock and returns a few days or hours or even minutes
later, you will see the rock in a new way.
The rock never changes... but nobody ses it alike.
It is the same with everything in life. Don't force others to see
things your way, they look at the Rock from a different angle. |

| I was thaught about Taquani by a friend I met over
AIM. She told me about how Taquani wouldn't restrict you like
Christianity or Islam or even Wicca would. I plead her to teach me how
to be one, and I can now tell that she followed the Teachers statement
very closely, never directing me, rather acting as a guide untill I
found my Angel. Lizz, I love you for teaching me and guiding me
into Taquani before your net crashed. If you see this: I am still alive,
and my AIM is the same - please send an e-mail to me, I miss you so much! |
The Teacher: You now know that the Rock is seen
differently, depending on who is looking... How can you then teach
others to do exactly as you?
If you force others to learn things in your way, you might make them
uncomfortable, you might be forcing them to see the rock your way and
thereby blinding them.
You should not dictate when teaching others about anything, least of
all Taquani.
You should rather advice them and guide them, letting them take
everything step by step, leting them build their own web with a center
in something they are comfortable with.This applies in particular if you
are one of thoes Taquani who practice magic or witchcraft... I have only
heard of miserable outcome from people who tried to play with
magic in their teachers way and not becomming comfortable with the ideas
themselves first |
| The Guide: When wandering around in this world, you
are never alone. You have a Guide with you, a guide who keeps an eye on
you nd whisper to you in your dreams. It act like your 6th sense and
that tingling in your spine when you are about to make a choise.
It is hard to understand a first but after some time, you will get used
to looking after the clues all around you.
A bat spirit-guide might show all his clues upside down and a light
spirit-guide may let you catch her hints trough the change of light.
Some say that the Guide is your totem as well, and I can't see why that
would not be true.
The guide gives his help trough others. He will never interact with
you directly trough other than dream, unless you can do some fancy trick
and get into contact with him or her.
The guide will reveal himself when it is time. Just look for the
clues, they are everywhere. |
My guide is an angel. I am sure of it. I can't tell how I got the
idea, but I have always felt that there was someone holding a hand over
me, and for some time I saw angels everywhere.
When I accepted the idea, I becan seeing Angels who winked to me
or Angels who were waving.
Now he guides me everywhere I am. I carry a little medalion with a
picture of my mom and Celia and an angel on the outside. A few times I
have felt like it was growing colder when I was about to do something,
once it saved me from investing in a firm that closed only a month later. |

| If you want to become Taquani, remember ONE thing: Be
Yourself. If something just doesn't fit you: ignore it adn leave it.
If you like some particular part of some religion: Take it, adapt it,
and make it suit you.
That is about it. |
All in one: you have to make up your own religion from
ideas. You aren't restricted, you don't have to do anything. It
might sound silly, but it is great to get the feeling of being something,
and when I claimed myself Taquani, I felt so great. My colleges could
tell at work that there was something different about me, but couldn't
say what.
I can't say anything bad about Taquani... maybe the lack of
connection between the Taquani followers. |
