Spendthrift Farm
Hey everyone! This is Spendthrift Farm. We are located just outside of Lexington, Kentucky on 54 acres of land. We have 1 stallion barn with 8 stalls and a small paddock with each of them. We also have 1 training barn which has 25 stalls. There is a yearling/weanling barn that has 15 stalls for our young horses. Our mare barn is able to accomodate 15 mares and their foals comfortably. Each stall is a 20' by 20' box stall with a 4 acre paddock behind this barn for turnout. Each of our barns has a washroom and a tackroom. We have 5 large, 3 acre paddocks for our other horses to be turned out in so they can have a good rest. Our facility has 2 tracks, one dirt and one turf. They are both a mile long.
