Here is my honey and I after I led worship at church for the first time. See how I'm smiling? Thats because it's over. (I'm NOT your next american idol.)

Us after graduation... too bad he wouldn't smile!

AJ and I at Creation Fest at the Gorge Ampitheaterlast summer... it was HOT! (Hopefully I can get as tan as I was then for my wedding!)

Sarah (bridesmaid) and I... aren't we pretty?

Me, Vivian (bridesmaid), and Cindy (maid of honor) after graduation.

Mom & I on Christmas 2 years ago... what are the chances that we'd get each other the same shirt?

My furbaby Milo playing dead.

My brother Mac and our dogs, Missy Chiquita Banana and Coby.

Please donate to the Make-A-Wish Foundation in honor of my brother or any children you know suffering from a life threatening illness. For more info
click here. Mac died from a brain tumor in June of 2001 at the age of 14. I miss you buddy!

The ceremony will take place on the front lawn at Silver Falls Vineyards in Sublimity, OR. The ceremony is in the evening at 5 p.m. (hopefully won't be so hot!), and there are two large trees that will keep the lawn in the shade.

Although I don't have pictures of the building and lawn right now, this is the vineyard itself, and one of the flower barrels that lines the parking area and the edges of the lawn.

Ring bearer pillows I like:
Im going to make my own, but my inspirations will come from these.

Flower girl baskets I like:
I will be making this myself as well.

Guestbook:

I like this guestbook, but we are thinking about only doing a photo mat instead.

Decorations

It will be a warm day in August, so we are going to have bottled water at the table with the programs.

This idea is from Martha Stewart, but I would use water bottles instead of corona. I will probably use these large galvanized tubs instead of the wheelbarrow. (I have 2 from Pier One with hearts/flowers on them)

Unity Candles I like:
Another thing I am going to make myself, but am still looking for ideas.

I like the silver beads on this one.

I also like the idea of our monogram on it.

I really like this holder for the unity candle & tapers.

Isle decorations I like:

I am going to make something similar to this, but in my colors (burgundy, pink, silver)

I'd like to have my rosepetals look like this!

I love this... it was homemade by a knottie... i'd like to make one myself. (if i took this from your bio and you want credit email me:
dorkycorky@hotmail.com - i can't remember for the life of me who's i got it from.)

Altar Decorations I like:

The grape arbor out front looks very similar to this, only it is against the building. We are going to decorate part of it to make it stand out with ribbons-n-such, but i havent found any pictures that are similar to that yet.

I have 2 taller columns similar to this that will have callas coming out of the top that I will put near the arbor.

I love the look of this but I'm not really sure if any of it fits with my wedding. :-)

Ceremony Music:
A good friend of both of us, Zach, is going to play the piano and guitar and sing, along with the grooms sister, Tiara, who will sing as well.

I haven't chosen my music yet. Possibly Alan Jackson's "Remember When" or Shania Twain/Bryan White "From This Moment" somewhere in there.

This is my dress from David's Bridal - White strapless georgette A-line with side-draped pearls and sequins with a chapel train

my veil is also from David's Bridal - Scalloped edge veil with crystal drops

Tiaras I like:

Jewelry I like:

Garters I like:

Shoes I like:

Hairstyles I like:

I'd like to wear my hair half-up... but if it's really hot that day I may have to go for wearing all of it up.

Groom's formal wear:

He will be in a platinum vest.

Bridesmaid Dress:

The bridesmaids' dress from David's Bridal - the color is called sangria

Here is our shopping trip to David's bridal to get fitted for bridesmaid dresses. from left to right: Cindy (Maid of Honor), Sarah (Bridesmaid), Vivian (Bridesmaid)... with me in front. (Sarah is hiding because they didn't have the dress in the right color in her size and she was embarrassed.)

Groomsman's formal wear:

The groomsmen will be in this burgundy color. The ushers and Zach (piano) may have the same color as well.

Possible Flower girl dress:
My flower girl is me 6 year old cousin Carly... she's blonde & cute. Our ringbearer is AJ's 6 year old blonde cousin Hayden. They will be adorable together!

My photographer is Jeff at Wedding Presence Photography in Portland.

Must-have photos

This one is funny because there is a ping pong table in the men's changing room... so I will definately have to get a picture like that!

Save the Date cards I made:
I haven't decided which one to print yet & use... i need to do it in the next week!

Invitations I like:

This first picture is the patio outside the building at the vineyard, where some tables will be. It will have a canopy over it, however. The second picture is of the smaller room just inside the building - this room will be where the food is served, as well as the dance floor. There is a large room next to it where more tables will be.

Our reception will be catered by Willaby's Catering in Salem, Or.

We will have a buffet menu including:
Fresh Seasonal Fruit
Crudite with Creamy Herb Dip
Domestic and Imported Cheeses
Demi Focaccia Sandwiches
Caesar Salad with Fresh Grated Parmesan
Cheese Tortellini & Marinated Vegetable Salad
Alder Smoked Turkey w/ Cranberry Compote
Roast Baron of Beef with Horseradish Cream

I love this idea from Martha Stewart for serving drinks. My caterer has jars just like this we can use - we will have lemon water, tea, and strawberry lemonade.

Tables:

The tables will all have a sheer pink underlay with crushed irredescent linens in half platinum and half burgundy.

An idea from Martha that i like... i bought the votive holders but i might paint them with mirror paint instead.

This is our monogram I made in photoshop - it will be used in various aspects of our wedding.

We are going to give out bubbles for our guests to blow when we leave the reception.

Music
First Dance Possibilities:
From this moment - Shania Twain/Bryan White
Everything I Do - Brian Adams
Amazed - Lonestar

My cake looks similar to the 2 below:

It will be 4 tiers, white with burgundy swirls on all 4 tiers (unlike the first cake pictured which only has it on 3). There will also be small silver beads on the cake. Possibly some flowers on top and at the base.

My cake is by Edelweiss Cakes in Corvallis.

Grooms cakes I like:

Minus the whole "happy birthday dad" thing...
I'm still not sure if I'm going to have a groom's cake or not.

Cake knives I like:

Toasting glasses I like:

Bouquets I like:

I like the callas & stephanotis in this one

I like the ribbon on this one, although i'd like more ribbon flowing off of it.

This is similar to the color of callas i'd like, but in the first bouquet.

I like this one :-)

I like this one a lot even though i dont want roses

This one is kinda cool but I'm not sure if I want one so fluffy and big.
